Opening ceremony and UN Global report are among the day's highlights
The 8th World Water Forum official opening ceremony will happen this Monday (19) at 9 am. With the presence of 14 heads of State, including the Brazilian president, Michel Temer, the closed ceremony will take place at Itamaraty Palace, in Brasilia, and will be transmitted to the Master Auditorium of the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center (CCUG) to all participants.
The program of panels and discussions of the world's largest event on water starts this Monday with an extensive agenda: more than 1300 lectures distributed in about 300 sessions. The debates may be watched by about ten thousand participants from more than 160 countries.
Solutions Market brings individual and collective good practices
One of the attractions of the Citizen Village, part of the 8th World Water Forum, is the Solutions Market – a space that presents experiences geared to good practices in water use. The idea is that individual and collective initiatives can inspire visitors of the Citizen Village to adopt sustainable measures in their daily lives.
Thematic Process concludes the agenda of debates for the 8th Forum
About 25 representatives from the Thematic Process got together this Sunday (18), at Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center in Brasilia, to discuss a work agenda at the 8th World Water Forum. This was the first day of debates of the largest meeting about water on the planet.
